This project’s goal was to create and design a new mobile application for iOS.

This app is for corvallis residents who want to learn more about their community in a deeper context. Artfinder is a location service that provides enriching information on local art and how to interact with it.

OBJECTIVES:
  • Understand the components of a design plan and apply centered design process from requirement gathering to user studies and evaluation.
  •  Learn the design process of Mobile application design
  • Analyze the cognitive, interactive, and affective capability of an existing Mobile application.
  • Plan the structure of a Mobile application within a service model
  • Apply software and paper prototyping tools to design user interfaces that take into account human capabilities and constraints, users’ needs, usability goals and user experience goals
  • Evaluate the value of the designed Mobile application, given assessment criteria
